A separate 2006 study by Staresinic et al. (PMID 16609979) examining quadriceps muscle transection used the same daily i.p. protocol across a 72-day study period. Across these studies, three dose levels were typically tested — 10 µg/kg, 10 ng/kg, and 10 pg/kg — with all three demonstrating measurable effects relative to controls.
